Michael studied International Studies and Spanish while attending Seattle University, and he brings three years of administrative experience to the team. He spent the past year as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Mexico leading the planning and execution of school programming. Prior, he served as Program Coordinator for Neighborhood Partnerships' Oregon Individual Development Account Initiative, a statewide matched-savings program. At GPI, Michael holds the role of administrative coordinator. Michael has spent his early career uplifting community locally and abroad and hopes to continue to do so at GPI through economic development.

Michael is originally from North Portland. His interests outside of work include reading sci-fi and Spanish poetry, Japanese language study, and international travel.
