Neil Simon

Neil H. Simon is GPI’s marketing and communications lead and serves as the organization’s spokesperson.

Neil is a fourth-generation Oregonian with international experience in journalism, government, and public relations. To promote GPI’s economic development work, Neil draws on his passion for connecting his home region to the wider world. Neil previously served as global communications director for Tektronix and as a diplomat stationed in Denmark and a communications lead in US Congress. Neil has worked on trade and investment issues for the European Union and the U.S. in Vietnam and across 57 countries. He is also an award-winning documentary filmmaker. Neil is a principal in the government affairs division at Porter Wright LLP.
