Janita Jones

Janita "JJ" Jones is a highly accomplished event producer and community leader with over 15 years of experience creating memorable experiences that bring people together. Throughout her career, JJ has consistently delivered outstanding results while inspiring those around her.  

As the former Director of Special Events for the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, JJ led some of the organization's most high-profile initiatives. Her vision and expertise ensured that each event was a resounding success, cementing valuable relationships across the community. JJ also served as a valued liaison for the Black Advisory Business Council, strengthening vital partnerships.  

In addition to her work with the Chamber, JJ is the founder and creative force behind JJT Studios. Through her company, she has produced impactful celebrations and provided a nurturing space for personal growth. JJ deeply values using her talents to empower others and foster connection.  

Beyond her professional accomplishments, JJ is passionate about empowering youth. She generously shares her skills as an Assistant Track Coach for Benson Polytechnic High School, helping students achieve their full potential. Her dedication to mentorship is just one example of JJ's commitment to bettering people's lives. JJ is also on the board for Bag & Baggage Theater Company in Hillsboro and regularly volunteers at the schools of her children.
