According to The Oregonian, "Clark County's economy has grown tremendously in the years since the Great Recession." Clark County is located in southwestern Washington, just north of Portland on I-5. Its county seat and largest city is Vancouver, Washington.
The article points to three indicators:
- Sales grew at an annual rate of 8.8% from 2010 through 2018, outpacing Washington's statewide sales growth.
